Project Lifesaver

Project Lifesaver is the premier search and rescue program operated by public safety agencies, and is strategically designed for “at risk” individuals who are prone to the life threatening behavior of wandering. A bracelet is worn around the wrist or ankle of the individual with autism, downs syndrome, dementia or alzheimer's. Every bracelet sends out a unique frequency used to locate them if they wander from safety. Public safety agencies who have been trained have the equipment needed to find the individual by tracking the bracelet.

The Jullia Rose Foundation has brought Project Lifesaver to 10 communities in Nebraska to date. We have provided organizations and law enforcement with the training and equipment needed to protect the vulnerable.
